I thought google was always my friend. This article suggests otherwise. I guess if people use google to search things they are ashamed of then google would not be your friend because all of the searches that come from your URL can be accessed and subpoenaed for court use. If you have nothing to hide then you have nothing to worry about.

It is amazing telecommunication companies have so much power. It may not be fair, but I think it is a great idea as far as the huge conglomerates are concerned. However, it will be not very popular with people who are pro personal security of information. It goes back to the debate if Americans should get used to a new definition of privacy
