Press Release #1 (Final)

For Immediate Release

1/24/2008

ABC Real Estate announces a new program that will revolutionize the housing market.

ABC Real Estate LLC

LOGAN, Utah –

Bret Cob started ABC Real Estate LLC in August 2007 taking a program that has been geared toward the wealthy, molding it to work for the blue-collar middle class of America.

“Starting this company I took an idea that has been geared toward the wealthy and re-tooled it to benefit the working middle class of America,” Cob said.

In the program there are four beneficiaries, the settler beneficiary, resident beneficiary, credit beneficiary and the investor beneficiary.

“Each of the beneficiaries plays an integral part in the program”, Cob said, “the settler beneficiary contributes the house which basically gets them out of their mortgage, the resident beneficiary contributes payments which pay the mortgage which helps the resident build credit, the credit beneficiary uses their credit to back the program and in return they receive monthly distributions of money and the investor beneficiary puts in the money needed to fund the program”.

It is ABC Real Estate’s job to prepare and process the paperwork, put the four beneficiaries together so the program will work, and to guarantee the contributions of the beneficiaries.

“This is the solution to the housing market crash,” Cob said, “I was contacted by Wall Street to take this program national for a reason.”

“I am starting the program in Utah as a pilot and plan to go national as soon as possible,” Cob said.

Cob hopes people will give the program a chance and reap the benefits it has to offer.

All other questions concerning ABC Real Estate can be directed to me.

Letter my my cousin CJ about Public Relations

CJ Barrus
1355 S. State
SLC, Utah 84311

Dear CJ,

The last time we talked you asked me what public relations is, and what someone in the profession might write about. I hope this letter will clarify what public relations is and what people in the public relations profession write about.

Public relations is the promotion and management of a product or organization to the public, customers, to employees within an organization, or even from one organization to another. The promotion is typically done through the media and through writing. One way you can look at it, is that public relations (using the media) is a bridge that links the product or organization to the public, organization, or employees. It is the public relations specialist’s job to know who the audience is and how to relate to that audience to promote the product or organization.

Writing is what public relations is all about. Writing is used every day in public relations. Being able to communicate through writing is essential. Typically, a public relations professional may write press releases, speeches, memos, advertisements, podcasts, and web casts just to name a few. The key in Public Relations writing is being able to know what the target is and being able to effectively hit it through written expression and communication.

Hopefully this will clarify for you what public relations is and how writing is involved in the profession. Write me back and let me know if you have any other questions.

Your cousin,

Mark

1st reading

My first reading was one that was good to supplement what I already knew about Netiquette. I am currently working in a professional environment where it is very important the do's and dont's of emailing. I knew all of the basic rules found in the reading but it was good to brush up and have a reminder of how to be professional in the wonderful tool that is Email. I had never heard anything about flaming so it was interesting to understand more of the jargon associated with blogging/emailing etc.
